One of the original members of Guns N’ Roses, the greatest band in the world, maybe even the universe. Duff, born in Seattle, moved to L.A. where he met, fellow band members and went on to form GNR. Duff was the last of the original band o leave Axl, after 8 years. He then went on to form his own band Loaded, before joining Velvet Revolver among fellow Guns N’ Roses band mates, Slash and Matt Sorum. In Guns N’ Roses early days, Axl would introduce Duff as “the King of Beers”. Little known fact is that Simpson’s creators called him up one day and asked if they could use his name as the brand of beer on the show. In the days Duff used to drink he would be drinking Vodka, and huge amounts every day, before switching over to red wine. To celebrate Duff’s birthday we’ll recommend a Brutal Hammer.
